The announcement adds that the screening is not intended for those who simply want to watch quietly, and nor is it classified as a "cheering screening" -- viewers are prohibited from cheering aloud or bringing typical cheer-related goods such as glow sticks and penlights (as is common in Japan at many events, such as concerts and other live performances). Audiences are also warned that media and press could be filming, and that there is a chance that viewers will appear in the footage.

These "tear-jerking" screenings will take place on Dec. 4 and Dec. 11 at the United Cinema Sapporo in Hokkaido, the Yokohama Burg 13 and TOHO Cinemas Kawasaki in Kanagawa, TOHO Cinemas Nishinomiya OS in Hyogo, Shinjuku Wald 9 in Tokyo, 109 Cinemas in Nagoya and all three T-Joy theaters in Kyoto, Osaka and Fukuoka. Tickets are available at theater box offices on the Sundays prior to each respective screening, although the announcement does note that these sale times may vary by location.

Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya in the U.S. unveils a new Attack on Titanfood and merch collaboration ahead of the Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK premiere.

Attack on Titan star Yuki Kaji, who famously voices Eren Yeager in the hit series, recently opened up about the "overwhelming" challenge that was dubbing his lines for Attack on Titan: The Last Attack. "I think we probably did the dubbing for the second part in early summer last year, around June, but my child had a terrible cold, and I was hit hard by it. I wasn't in the best condition, but strangely enough, my voice came just on the day of the dubbing for Attack on Titan. I don't know if I had really given it my all, but the next day I couldn't get my voice out at all," Kaji said. "But maybe the fact that I was feeling exhausted both physically and mentally was linked to Eren. I look back on it as a funny story, but I was able to put my heart into my performance while experiencing hell. I remember being really overwhelmed in so many ways while doing it."
